Seasons in Maggie Valley
Enjoy all four seasons at Country Cabins
In the Winter the naked trees give us a peek into the mountainsides we can only experience this time of year. Activities include (but are not limited to) snow skiing, snow tubing, hiking and snowshoe hiking and sledding. Late Winter the Daffodils pop up everywhere.
Spring
Spring bursts forth with Apple Blossoms, Azaleas, Rhododendron flowers and Flowering Dogwoods to name a few. Hosta’s, Tulips and Lily’s seem to sprout up overnight. Animal babies of all kinds can be observed learning new skills such as walking, climbing, hopping and flying. It’s nature at it’s best!
Summer
Wildflowers cover the area in Summer and linger through Fall. Our average temperature is in the 70’s since we have an elevation of 3,000 feet. Some of our guest favorite Summer activities are:
Floating and tubing on one of our many rivers.
Hiking to our numerous waterfalls.
Biking and driving our scenic roads.
Fall
Mother Natures paintbrush splashes trees with color in every direction you look and that look can go for miles and miles on The Parkway. Fall and Apple Festivals are in full swing enticing us to try the newest apple treat and shop for that piece of local art.
